Got > 7000 miles on it. Now with ideal driving conditions, temperature between 60 and 85 F, 40-60 mph. Easily getting 70 miles driving with 20 % battery use. California Rte 1.

I'll be spending a few days in Las Vegas and Death Valley next month. I'm really hoping for some extended range with those 100+ temps during that trip. ?

So you're consistently getting 3.9 mi/kwh?
For May and now June avg has been 3.7. However, this past week I was hitting 4 often on longer trips. Most recharging I've been seeing 330, this was impressive at 350.

A routine trip in an AWD ER.*

*Really, Just don’t ask about the return. :p
You know that's it's an instant efficiency? It's measured for the last minute or so. Go down the hill and you can get 99mi/kWh. If you want to see an average you need to use Trip1 or Trip2.

Congrats! I think the AWD ER’s are capable of getting up to 300 miles as well based on my 1500 miles of Demo driving!
Im getting now after more that 5000 km (3125 miles) in a month and a half of driving, 482 km (301 milles) now of range on my AWD ER with allways sport mode. I drive 80% of the time on the highway at 120kmh/75mph

It averages between 10 m/k and around 13 m/k for the 45 mile trip to Kona. That's a net downhill trip with some climbs and some long descents and a lot of rolling hills. Speed limits vary from 60 to as low as 30 (in our subdivision), but most are 50 except for the one period I'm actually in Kailua town proper. I recall resetting trip 1 prior to this journey for reasons I no longer recall. Ditto for the reason I actually took the picture,

If I return via the Daniel K Inouye Highway results in about 2.2 but I've seen it as low as 1.8.

Looking at trip 2, which I've never reset, I'm averaging 3.5 since new, or 308 miles range. There are no freeways on the island, all surface streets with moderate speed limits and a bunch of non-local (tourist) traffic that slows things down. Another advantage is that other than Hilo the only time a street is level is when you're passing through it between uphill and downhill. Plus we live in upcountry (4400 ft/1340 meters) so we get the downhill boost going almost everywhere.

Where does it say that "This trip"'s MPK is instant?

Given the text and the values around it I would have thought that its a measure from the last time the this trip values reset (e.g. when you started the car). Nothing in the owner's manual about this value being an instant value.

If I reset trip 1 (and I remember doing that) then "This Trip" and Trip 1 are probably the same. The miles/kwh was a bit lower than normal for the run to Kona which averages a bit over 12.
