Um, shouldn't the screen you are on indicate the screen you are on? ?

The icon for the screen you're on gets x'd out so people don't get confused. It's pretty simple.

Grrrrr, there's no excuse for selling cars with such outdated software. Yes I know the service departments don't have the time to do it "for free." Ford's software update architecture should have been designed from the get-go to be able to deliver new cars that are fully updated.

Should be part of PDI in my opinion. I had over a dozen outdated modules when I bought mine new. Asked the dealer to check before I took delivery and they did nothing.

Sorry, in my opinion, that is unnecessary or at the very least a poor implementation. Why not just highlight the icon or slightly enlarge it. These sorts of things are well established in the world of UI design language. Again, how hard is this Ford (rhetorical).

Because highlights and size changes are harder to see while driving.
