BLUF: on my 2d purchase anniversary yesterday my Mach E' odo showed 70,004 miles. I'm the 1st owner.

What a great car this is!

Many multi-state trips, including Atlantic - Pacific. About 6 thousand miles towing a teardrop trailer.

Only failures, all under warranty and rapidly fixed:
1. Front motor blew its internal gaskets... fixed with new front motor within 5 days.
2. Sunglasses holder broke its left hinge pin - replaced under the warranty.
3. Driver's door stop arm had a creaking malfunction - replaced under warranty.

I love this car. It's super -packable, drives very well, looks great.

My ā€˜23 RWD Premium is on track to get close to that. 8 months and 22000 miles. I’m guessing I’ll be in the 60’s at two years. I’ll have it paid off three years after that ?.

For #3, does it sound like a clicking noise to you when the door opens and rocks on that last part of the hinge before coming to a stop? Almost like clicking your tongue?

Both my driver and passenger door did that, though it was worse with the driver side. I had the part replaced on both door hinges last year, but the noise is back (though not as bad as before).

They really are great cars, your average mileage is probably just greater than mine, June ā€˜21 and 85.5k coming up to 3 years old.

Had fewer failures than yours, luck of the draw I suppose.

Continue to enjoy?

I'm on my 2d set of the OEM Michelin LRR tires. I have more than half of their tread life still left.

NOTE: I use Vredestein cold weather Wintrax Pro tires on a spare set of wheels during the December - March season. This surely helps.

Well, about that front motor failure... I'm sure that it had absolutely NO connection to my then 14-year old nephew from Europe doing five thunder runs in this Mach E at the Bonneville Salt Flats in the Utah desert in July 2022, two of them at max sustained speed :crazy::crazy::crackup:

The front motor failed weeks afterward as I was returning home.

As I said above, ZERO correlation I'm sure he hee...

I understand the boy is still using the story to get dates. There might be a video floating around, made by the owner...

Happy Anniversary, Martin! Here's to many more to come.

note to @Ford Motor Company : my sunglass holder hinge pins are getting wonky as well. I do use the sunglass holder almost every drive living in the Southwest with 310 days/year of bright sun. ;)

The all-plastic design of the tiny catch and release pins is NOT likely to last much longer and is getting un-reliable. I'd suggest a magnet or metal latch in future design.
