Very few web cams for peering into MME production and distribution. For western deliveries via UP or BNSF, there is a live railroad cam at the Santa Fe Junction outside KC. Autoracks may move from KCS to UP or BNSF Argentine railyards through this busy rail crossing. Trouble is, there are lots of autoracks on some of these trains and the contents are not visible. Maybe you'll be astonished by the amount of spray paint used in applying graffiti to rail cars.

I'm hoping my MME order is arriving in KC vicinity in a few days. Chat told me it had crossed at Laredo 9/20. Chat also doesn't have a rail car number for me, but some others in the thread do and their MME is possibly on the same train. (Batch 8071, built 9/13, shipped soon after, crossed at Laredo, apparently 9/20, delivery ETA remains at 10/9-10/15.)

Absent any other details, I presume this means its train has reached Kansas City vicinity, (passed Laredo 9/20). She dug out a railcar number (AOK 501963) but I haven't found a functioning way to trace it, yet. Since CONVOY is on my window sticker, perhaps it will be put on a truck destined for Mira Loma Intermodal (ramp CH27), California. Perhaps, it will be trucked from KCS railyard near KC to other railyard (such as Argentine-BNSF) near KC for hauling to Cal. Perhaps it will be on a UP or BNSF train to Mira Loma, then truck to dealer. Don't know yet.

I got notice of "shipped" days later and Chat confirmed 10 day later. Ford tracking gives no rail car or waypoint info, that I know of. They all provided the same delivery ETA, however. Each of them (chat, tracking) and the VVR can run behind on updates, particularly once it's being transported. Opportunities to trace rail cars and auto transport trucks have diminished. More waiting....

On the same train too- checked my ford pass and looks like the cars were driven a quarter mile hopefully onto its next transport. Anyone know if it goes by rail from there to Mira loma? Or is this when the convoy comes into play?
