I got my car unstuck at the dealer back in April. Since then I already got two OTA updates and last night I got the recall update. So far so good.
Same here; car is receiving updates again and the recall update was one of them. I hope this ends the problem of the car not receiving OTA updates.

Apologies if it is out there but can't seem to find a concise listing as to what which update is supposed to do (maybe with an indication as to build it applies to). Seen a large number of individual items mentioned but was looking for a place that would have a listing as to update XXXX addresses yyyy. Have a GTPE build Aug 21 and have gotten zero updates besides blue cruise map (including no recall update) since purchase. Asked at the dealer and they of course said make an appointment and bring it in. Would really like to see if there are other things I should be pushing on. Have a Lightning now and in 3 weeks downloaded at least 2 updates. Nothing make or break the use of the Mach-E but looking to see if there are updates for system like PAAK (which is way more stable on the Lightning than the Mach-E), brake hold (which does not always seem to disengage like it should), rear hatch kick sensor (which is 50/50 at best), ..... A lot of these things should be software addressable and may be addressed in updates that I don't have and if it is going to be sitting at the dealer may want to give them a list of stuff to work on (and I expect there are items I take for granted that should be fixed).

@mpshizzle any chance you could update #7 in Post 1? I think it might be stale?

I just received PU 2.8.2 but my SYNC4 is still on 176. Would SYNC normally not be included in PU updates?

My car sitting in the garage connected to my WiFi does not get updates. So in order to get an update, I need to go to my dealer and get the latest updates? Last update was 3.5.2 on November 30th when I picked up my car.

Hi all,
Mache-E does not have a heat pump (it is actually the reverse operation of the air conditioning).
Do you think that at least someone will think to put temperature hysteresis in the settings. This can save a lot of energy and the temperature comfort in winter is almost the same.
Otherwise, I have to turn the heating on and off manually.

You picked up your car 13 days ago and are complaining you haven't gotten an update? Really?

Turn automatic updates on. Set a daily schedule to apply updates that require the car to be immobile, like 1AM. Drive the car every few days.

If you don't get any updates say 90 days after buying the car, THEN you MIGHT have an issue. Given that your car got 3.5.2, I can guarantee you have no issue.

Right, no heat pump because they don't provide any value in very cold temps. Don't know what you mean by your question - simply set the heat on Auto and off you go.

Yes, but the heating still maintains the set temperature and the saving is small. However, if I set the hysteresis to a range of 21°C to 19°C, the car will turn off the air conditioning (heater, fans...) after reaching 19°C and turn it on again after reaching 19°C.

So you think that the Mach-E's HVAC system has no range like that built in? I think every modern system over the past decade(s) does.

Heh, I didn’t get my first OTA update until I had my car for 8 months. I was still complaining about Ford’s lack of communication while my car was on reservation and order at that point. Oh, and bitching about hating cancer. ??

I don't think he has. Otherwise I wouldn't do it manually. The point is that it takes the body much longer to realize that it feels cold. A sensor is just a sensor.

Don't know what to tell you. Most people set the car on the temp they want, on Auto, and drive. Temp goes up to 70.X, heater turns off (fan doesn't). Drops to 69.X, heater comes on. I have no idea if those are the right numbers, but that's the concept.

Go to the screen that shows E-Heat and you MAY be able to see the heat turn off and on.
