Oh yeah, also.
With the Android Auto, did we hear or can the car put Waze up on the Nav screen? Or Google Maps?
Or just the maps Ford has loaded?

Again. Info overload... can't remember all of what we've heard and what we haven't.

So far, it looks like the HomeLink buttons are on the visor instead of in the touch screen. I'm expecting we'll not get the automatic door open/close, but maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

No air suspension so probably no controls for height... The GT gets MagneRide but I'm not sure if that can do much in the way of ride height.

Yes, they've said full Android Auto (and CarPlay) so Waze should work fine. They used Waze as one of their examples of apps customers prefer to use.

Yes, please.

back to our program: I am getting the select edition, so seeing the appearance package with black roof and different wheels is intriguing. I really liked the black painted roof on car that was at Ford hq a month ago, but looking at the "upgraded" aero wheels I am not so sure about them. I really hate the Tonka truck covers that tesla provides with the 3, but then the wheels look pretty good without the covers on. I wonder how the mach e would look with Ford aero covers off?

Yeah I have to agree with you on this. I'm not looking forward to the wheel covers. The black roof I really like, but I was hoping to get a better selection on the wheels. With the covers off I'm not too sure, maybe a 5 spoke configuration. It would be nice to get a image soon of the bare wheels. I wonder if they will have a "tech" package to add the 360 cameras? The 7K difference to upgrade to a Premium I can't justify.

Yes, you can put any Android auto compatible app up on the screen. Both Waze and Google maps allow this (this is how it works on Sync 3 also)

Yeah, what's up with that? I would love to have the garage door opener kick in as soon as you turn the car on and have it close when you turn the car off. This must be very simple to do in software, especially for openers that already have a smartphone interface.

On the main Ford mach e page is a comparison chart that shows the 360 as an option, as well as park assist and memory seats. On that chart the heated seats are not an option for select or rt1

So the Mach we all reserved does not included these ? I know that when
we meet with our dealers we will order what we want. Does this increase
the price of our choice we have now ?

If I remember correctly all Mach E will have 360 Camera installed just not useable. Which brings up options to enable it via as vehicle configurable option or a later option update to pay for via software update. And I will assume with the 360 cam update will enable the park assist feature but this is all speculation until ford releases more information.

No, 360 camera, memory seat, and park assist is standard on rt1, premium, fe, and gt- for select they are optional. For some reason heated seats are standard on prem ium, gt, and fe but not available on select and rt1
