So I have an email from my dealer in writing stating they would accept X-Plan for my vehicle, now saying that they won't accept it (because I also have them in writing stating they would not charge me an ADM). Any suggestions for what to do? (Other than definitely not selling them my trade-in).

I've sent their own email back to them, awaiting a reply. Do I need to fire up LinkedIn and Twitter for Ford Execs?

If they wont Cooperate, you could also throw.a big stink in the showroom. I didn't do it but let them know I'm moving my other reservations to another dealer.

I don't have other reservations, and if I did, I would most definitely not make them with this dealer.

My GT was just delivered to my dealer and now we are talking finances (via email). I've previously mentioned to them before that I want to use X-plan and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Now they telling me that they are not accepting x-plan for this model. Any advice on how to get them to accept X-plan or am I out of luck?
This may be urban legend but I thought the Ford Motor Company rule was that the dealer can opt-out of allowing X-plan completely -- but if they do accept it on other vehicle deals, then they cannot refuse to accept it -- as long as the model is not defined by Ford as excluded for x-plan). The GT and GTPE are eligible for x-plan.

Not sure this helps but I just looked on website and found that all Mach E’s qualify

My understanding as well. They cannot pick and choose.

Really??? That would make sense why my dealer said no. If they don't want to offer on other cars....seems strange they can't on some. Still crappy.

I know that x-plan is available on the GT. How do I raise a stink about this one? Suggestions on who to contact?

You folks here appear to be correct from reading up at the Ford Partner site for X-Plan. The agreement and FAQ for the Ford Partner program make no mention that the dealer can decide based upon their own deal terms whether they choose to accept X-Plan on a deal-by-deal basis.

@Ford Motor Company is there any assistance you can provide in educating Sunnyvale Ford on their obligations under the Ford Partner Program?

Good luck man! I questioned my dealer why they weren't accepting x-plan for my GT. I mentioned that they previously said there would be no issues and also referenced the fordpartners website listing the Mach-E GT as eligible for X-Plan and they agreed to honor the x-plan pricing. I'm thankful they decided to honor x-plan and that I didn't have to escalate but I realize everyones experience may not be the same.

For those looking to do X-plan (Partner) and FordOptions (Incentive $) on a GT, it may take some persistence to make it happen. Even a friend processing the transaction hit several walls in their system, where it wasn't available, could only do one or the other, rejected etc etc. Thankfully after his many calls we got both, but cant see it going well with a rep who's "less inclined" to make the calls or push on your behalf and not close the deal that day.

Just FYI if you get a denial, be patient and politely inquire that they look into it more ;)

My situation got, uh, "sorted out" .... Sunnyvale Ford tells me they will keep their prior promises of accepting X-Plan (that I had them make in an email).

Just in case, I have a "backup" GTPE I ordered over the summer with a 10/18 build date going to Frontier Ford -- never know, just in case something goes really wrong when I show up at Sunnyvale Ford.

With Frontier Ford, I have all of the details of the deal confirmed from them in an email and they were very direct, seemed like no games. Hopefully the Sunnyvale delivery works out (I bet it will now!) -- it will be entertaining to see how much my cancelled order will be marked up, considering Frontier had a non-GT advertised at an ADM of $20k this weekend.
