I have the latest HVAC update released to FDRS and have found I have been having to adjust the temp way more often than last spring.

If feels like the car is way warmer inside than the set temp of 67.

Last year I had it in auto low and set to 67 and never had to touch the HVAC settings. The car was always a temp I wanted or seemed to be actively working toward a temp I wanted.

Now it seems the car gets warm and I have to either bump auto to medium or high for a while or lower the temp even lower. Then a few minutes later I have to undo the changes I just made.
Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

Every car I’ve ever had with digital temp settings has been a joke. I always have/had to increase/decrease the setting depending on the outside temp, whether I was in the sun, etc. Might as well just have the old dial or slider that goes from blue to red.

My MME is probably the least bad of the bunch, but I don‘t have the update you all are discussing (yet).

Happened again today. Started at 61°, stayed like that for 5 minutes, then jumped to 81°, which was the actual temp out.

My 25-year-old Lexus is great at this.

On the day I bought the car I set the thermostat to 70 degrees, and I have not needed to change it for a quarter of a century. Hot, cold, sunny, cloudy, day or night - it always feels comfortable and consistent. So it can be done!

Ford hopefully you see the last update 4.2.5 made it worse not better we have to adjust the temp and the intensity way more now after the update and rarely had to before the update.

Pretty sure it's a poorly written bot. I don't believe anyone has had success with them looking up a vin number and dealer info.

BTW I noticed In the couple months i've owned it I've ended up setting the AC much lower than previously and that yesterday it was hot in the car but the AC refused to do anything until I turned the temp down 5 more degrees.. so yes I'm, seeing it too.

Same issue with my car occasionally. My vehicle report showed up today and I saw this (although when I click on the link, is says everything is ok)

I just had the easy entry update done today and now I am noticing this behavior. It was crazy hot in my interior and the air conditioning was barely running. I had to turn on Max AC in order to cool down the interior. Tomorrow I will try doing what others say and set the auto temp to much lower than what I was normally set to.

Speaking of a AC, i’m guessing it’s a feature but today I was doing the phone as a key set up and I had the charger on and one of the things you have to do is start the car so I started the car and I got the message you must unplug the charger if you’re gonna start the car. I shut the car off unplugged it when I got back inside started the car. The AC was not working, but it was just that it was off so I’m just wondering when it’s plugged in charging and you shut the AC off to conserve power I don’t know.

I do not know if this is related but I have found that when it’s warm enough that the ac is on, if I check the screen with the hvac options, it frequently indicates that the heat is also on. It hasn’t been warm enough often enough here for me to see if that’s every time, but it’s definitely happened more than once.
