I test drove one today and I do miss not having seat tilt on the driver seat. I have it on my 13 Escape but not on my 50K Mach E? Does anyone know of a way to add this to the seat in the car? Everything else on the car is great. Any suggestions welcome as I do miss this.

About the only way I can think of would be to swap out the actual seat mechanism with a seat mechanism that has the additional motor. Even then, I’m not sure it would be possible.
Ford did drop the ball on the seats.

I agree it makes no sense. Somebody saved a dollar on building the car.

What do you mean by tilt on the seat? Are you referring to the back of the seat?

Without having personally seen a MME yet, how about just adding some spacers under the front seat mounts. Don’t know how practical that would be, but might be worth investigating.

The Mach e I test drove had the capability to change positions of the seat. If you pull up on the middle lever the seat goes up.

As you change the seat from a low position to a high position, it feels like the tilt of the bottom (the part your rear-end and legs rest on) changes. I feel like the front of the seat raises at a slower rate than the back of the seat. I will be looking into adding some sort of spacer to permanently raise the front on inch when I get my MME.

This is my number one complaint. I have to move the seat all the way down to get comfortable. I’m only 5’10”.

Tilt would have for sure made the seat more comfortable.

That is a great idea, I wonder what type of place could do that work? I just need a little lift in the front.

It sounds annoying. My '08 Mustang had it, even. Maybe their new seat manufacturer couldn't do it?

This will be my first car since my 1991 Oldsmobile that doesn’t have seat tilting functionality ?. I didn’t realize that until now. I figured it was like power windows and was standard by now.

I was hoping for a 10-way seat but we only got an 8-way adjusting seat. It's fine, I'll custom tilt it to where I want it for daily driving.

I noticed this during the road tour and it's one of the few things eating at me. I really need a test drive to weigh whether it's that big of an issue.

My current car has the 10 way seats (S-max Vignale), I was also very disappointed in this and don't understand why it's not available on the ME !!
