Hi all, thanks for all the great info in here (I’m new). I’m considering a 2023 Premium Mach-e, vapor blue with extended battery, RWD/eAWD. I am eligible for “X-Plan” pricing through my employer.

Local dealer has the newly discounted price showing as $51.4k, minus a dealer discount of $1,000 and another $1,000 off for “retail bonus cash,” bringing the advertised price (before x plan) to $49.4k.

Included options are interior protection package (floor mats) and comfort package (heated seats, etc.).

Should I expect more of a discount? Or is this a good deal?

Anything else I should expect in terms of incentives beyond the zero percent financing offer?

I will be visiting the dealership today.

Thanks!!

Edit: it looks like this car is AWD, not RWD. I was confused by the designation of “eAWD.”

You aren't understanding what X-Plan is. X-Plan gives you a discount off of the invoice price, plus any rebates. If the dealer's discount is more, that's what you get. One or the other. You can't negotiate an X-Plan price.

X-Plan also limits the documentation fee to $100. Watch out for a dealer offering a better than X-Plan price, and then charging a large doc fee.

thank you for the explanation (never used x-plan before). Based on prices you’re seeing, do you think I should expect the dealer to do better than i could otherwise get with X-plan? Looks like some dealers are offering significant discounts.

I would expect that discounts to far outweigh X-Plan. But keep in mind that many "discounts" are in fact either a restatement of the window sticker (new, lower price from Ford that really isn't a discount), or a rebate/incentive from Ford. Those would be in addition to X-Plan. Many dealers play games.

With the new adjusted MSRP I would hope you can find a better deal. I’m patiently waiting on picking up a 23 GTPE. At this point the MSRP of a 23 is about 6K more then a 24.

I can provide a single data point for your reference. Last week I purchased a 23 GTPE for $51,707 OTD (tax/title/license/etc.) I am in Texas.

Another data point, also in TX... I just got a Cali R1 for just around $42000, original sticker was 62000. And, they were super aggressive with my trade.
As a point for the negotiation, if you have a trade, make sure you have carfax's offer, even if it's just the first email offer ( I didn't even go into the CarMax dealer).

Job 1, so I got the charger and 3 years of BC in the deal.
The deal sheet you posted in the other thread shows a $6,250 rebate. Do you know where that came from? The dealer I'm working with in AZ isn't showing it.

That dealer was full of shit and just threw a bunch of nonsense on the sheet to get me in the door.

This is the contract from a different dealer that I ended up buying from. Note I did pay $1345 ($100 above cost) for the extended warranty because they were so straightforward and easy to work with, but I could've said no. Basically, the dealer discounted it down to 51k before the 3k incentive.

Before Tax/Title/License: $48,265
After Tax/Title/License: $51,707

Total Financed After Extended Warranty: $53,044

Shop around to other dealers. My dealer was offering $3500 discount incentive and I had A-Plan. Also took advantage of the 0% financing!
