So I noticed this weekend that if I used Android Auto to navigate, directions would go to the driver display but the destination distance always read 0. Anyone else seeing this? Tried doing a search, but wasn't successful at finding anyone reporting this.

what power up are you on? Did you do a sync reboot by holding volume down and track skip until the center screen reboots?

Which map app are you using? Google Maps? Waze? I've used both and have not seen that. I have had some strange characters show up on the driver's display for the current road/highway - but that's the Ford system trying to read whatever the data in Waze/Maps says for the street name or road.

Waze, I will try a sync reset to see if that changes the behavior.

Looks like it was some kind of bug on Android Auto's end. Once I switched over to Google Maps, the bug went away for Waze as well.

Bug is still reproducible, only way to get the IPC to show the destination mileage is to start navigation with Google Maps, then switch to WAZE.

Just another update, Waze is still not pushing destination mileage to the center console. Shows destination is 0 miles away. Has anyone been able to reproduce this? Google Maps is fine, but Waze, which I usually use, is not pushing information. Not sure if it is a Waze or Android Auto issue. But it is annoying.

Same here, '23 Premium. Distance only started showing in the IPC recently after an update. Google Maps shows the correct distance (like with the Ford Navigation), Waze shows 0. That's on Android Auto in my case (haven't noticed on CarPlay).
I have had the same behavior in my '21 Edge with Sync 4, where the navigation screen in the IPC will show 0 when Waze is the navigation app, but will show the correct distance with Google Maps. It's been like that since we got it new, so I assumed it's a simple bug/limitation with Waze not sharing the correct data back to the car.

Same today. I just got the 10.1.0 update and tested both. Google Maps now shows correct miles to destination on the IPC and shows estimated charge on arrival on the maps screen.

Waze was still showing 0 miles to destination on the IPC.

I was getting the zero miles to destination in the driver display, but that was when using ABRP through AA.

I'll check again once I get the update that allows battery integration.

Well this may be an older thread, but this problem started happening today. Google maps through Android auto in my 2025 Premium will only show 0.0 miles to destination on the driver's panel. It does show turn by turn directions. The miles remaining does show on the main/big screen.

The Ford navigation does show proper miles remaining on both screens, but I'm not willing to use that app. I did reboot the infotainment system, which didn't help.

Suggestions? It's so odd this suddenly broke!

It's happening to a lot of people, and the opinion is that it was a bad Google Maps update. Mine was broken and has now returned to normal, so I guess I got an app update.
