@tonesto7 discovered that Ford changed their login authentication process, which means you cannot log into your account from the widget. Token refreshes and status accesses still work. Just to be safe, save your settings so in case something should happen, you can restore to get the current tokens back.
Wanting to try this app out, but reading this it looks like I will not be able to login to my ford account at this point, correct?

A quick progress update. Smart folks with the Fordpass Home Assistant Integration project figured out a workaround and supplied some Python code which demonstrated the process. I've finally been able to code something that works in Java but I don't feel it's reliable yet. However, not being able to log in is 100% reliable in the current release, so I'll probably just clean it up a bit and push it out.

Version 2022.07.01 just uploaded. Note that the only change was the new log-in authentication; you only need to update if you were not able to log in since last Monday.

I saw a variant of DevSecOps widget and just thought it would be cool.. I have no idea how he made it with the visuals of opened doors and such though.

I was exploring this last weekend before I got waylaid by the login API change. I'm favoring showing a colored SVG image when all windows/doors and frunk/hatch are closed, and when something is open then either the wireframe image or a subdued (darkened) color image.

I've got it working for the Mach-E since it involves constructing a new filled SVG image, but setting the vehicle color automatically is an issue since the color info on Ford's servers is inaccurate (for example, my Rapid Red is identified as "LUCID RED TC/RED CARPET TC"). I've also only been able to change to pre-sets colors, so having the user pick the color themselves from a palette isn't yet an option.

So how interested would people be in a feature like this? (Anyone who doesn't want it would be able to select the current silhouette as the default). To automate the color selection, I'd need people to send log file output for their car's color description.

That sounds cool. I would probably use it.

Appreciate your hard work on this widget. It'll have a permanent home on my phone for as long as it's working.

OTA info shows a status of unknown. Bug with the app or bug with my car? Last OTA update it did per Fordpass was back in March.

I'm betting a bug with neither. If you can capture the logfile and post on GitHub I'll take a look, but since it's been over three months since the last OTA I'm guessing the servers are showing no information available. I really need to change that message....

Rapid Red and Lucid Red are the same (cf. RAPID RED METALLIC Mach-E Club | Page 55 | MachEforum - Ford Mustang Mach-E Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ), so the information is inaccurate, but kind of isn't...

but that doesn't help you any unless you are able to find a list for every color. Which... your log file request would take care of. ?

Yes, Ford (and other manufacturers) tend toward rebranding colors; "what's old is new again". I'm planning to make it easy by having an entry under Settings which displays the stored color, or copies to your clipboard.

Here's a mock-up of a Cyber(ish) Orange, showing normal view (full-size) and when things are opened.
Ford Mustang Mach-E Android Widget for Mach-E [Less Complex] cyberorang

Also figured out how to assign colors programatically so that anyone could pick their own color.
