Hmm, I'm not seeing that here. But in the last update there was a change to how those dates and times were stored internally and after checking the code I see the latest status timestamp in the app isn't formatted correctly. I can fix that at least.Since the latest update the OTA Time in the widget seems to display the time of the last refresh and not the last OTA update time. The OTA info in the app itself is still correct.
First, in general this is great. But up until the most recent update it was previously showing the OTA last update date (which for me was in early December), but now it's showing the time it last refreshed in the widget as you can see in the following screenshots (unless I'm missing something with how that date is determined).Hmm, I'm not seeing that here. Ok, uninstalling and reinstalling alone didn't fix it but in doing so I noticed that it stored the VIN even after uninstall and reinstall. So then I force closed the app then cleared the data then uninstalled and reinstalled and that fixed it. So there must have been something that was stored sticking around. But all good now, thanks. How odd
The date displayed on the widget is supposed to be the same as what's shown in "Time Stamp" (although my bug is displaying it as milliseconds since the Epoch, but running that huge number through here represents Dec 3 at 12:22 EST). Perhaps I messed something up when trying to retain backward compatibility.
It will be a bit of a pain, but you can try either uninstalling/reinstalling or clearing the app's storage. That will reset everything including the stored date. I will be pushing an update later today which fixed the millisecond bug but I don't believe it will fix this issue.
Doesn't work for me. App won't open. Tries to open but then just immediately closes. I'm on S10+Version 2022.02.06 uploaded. There are two new features in this version:
In addition, I've made small changes to more reliably get updates from the Ford servers.
- You should get a notification when a new version is uploaded.
- If you own more than one Mach-E, you can set up multiple profiles to view the status of each car from the widget (once you enable this in Settings, tap on the profile name under the "Mach-E" logo to switch profiles).
There are a lot of other internal changes done in the background for these features and I've tried to make them invisible, but if for some reason things don't seem to work for you It's advisable to just clear storage and start from scratch.
