Version 2022.02.09 is out on GitHub. The two main additions are
  1. you can override the default measurement units specified in FordPass, and
  2. a tap on the "New update" notification will open the GitHub repo i your browser so you download the latest apk
Two A few of you reported issues where the app stops updating; I had already made some changes to the update logic (specifically if for some reason the access token is lost) so if you've been having a similar problem see if this release fixes that.

Yes the widget stopped updating for me too the last couple days. I'm running 2.09. Thanks for all the hard work. It is a wonderful widget. I'll submit a report now.

Try the latest version first, then add to the open bug report on GitHub if it still isn't updating.

My OTA status in the widget is still showing the current date rather than the date that's in the app. I'm in the latest version. Was there a fix for this? Enjoying this, thank you for your work

For me to fix it, I had to force close the app then clear the data and log back in.

Thanks, as I was following your instructions, I also noted that the app didn't update (I dismissed the conflict message during install and thought it was successful). I've cleared, uninstalled, and updated and am working fine now.

I've only seen that when I'm testing unreleased versions.

You can get around it by uninstalling the current one, then installing the new APK.
Is there any other way to do the update when you get that error? (I'm getting it)

If I uninstall, then I have to do the whole VIN # entry/login and presumably re-add/position/resize my widget again. It's not the end of the world, but I'd like to stay current and that would be a bit of a speed bump to making updates.

Unfortunately there's no other way that I know of. Anyone who has rooted their phone can back up the data and restore it -- I've done that a number of times -- but you would still need to re-add/position/resize the widget.

Version 2022.02.10 is out on GitHub. It mainly focuses on the issues with the app not updating reliably. I tested for 21 hours and didn't see any unsuccessful attempts to get data from the servers. You may also notice a slight change to the widget's appearance.

This version should install over the last one without the "package conflicts" error. I think I traced that to an issue between Android Studio and another app I was working on.
