I scanned through all 8 pages in hopes that someone would have a tip on how to remove the stupid blue circle from the main screen. Sigh.

If anyone does figure out how to do so (@Ford Motor Company), please post it in a new thread with a crystal clear title such as How to Remove Alexa.

Thanks
I activated Alexa the first day I got the car and the icon disappeared immediately. Has never reappeared. And Alexa works flawlessly; much better than Amazon Auto.

Thanks. Yeah, I know it would go away if I activated, but I don't use Alexa and don't plan to. Happily the latest Alexa OTA update allows you to dismiss the icon without activating.

Anyone been able to get Apple Music working? Im not sure how the Mach-e implementation works, but all my Alexa's at home will pull music from my Apple Music account because I have that skill enabled.

You can use the “Siri” button on your steering wheel to play your Apple Music from your connected phone, and the Apple CarPlay app.

Thanks. I think this thread is for Alexa users.
I subscribe to Apple Music, but I prefer to use the Alexa voice assistant and the Fords UI. My question is to understand if the Apple Music skill work with Alexa in the Mach-e as it does at home with my many Alexa’s.

I despise everything about Amazon and I'm kind of pissed that I have to look at this Amazon logo at the top of my screen every day! I haven't found a way to disable it yet somebody says you can but I'm still looking!
Activate it, then proceed to disable it, kind of sucks it need activation but it's the only way I found to get the icon out of the ui.

No need to go through the Ford UI. You can use Apple CarPlay and Siri, thus completely avoiding Amazon.

I thought this was a thread about Alexa, but people keep telling me to use Car Play and/or Siri.

to the OP, yes I use Alexa. It works great, hands free and super easy to activate. If no one else cares to address my issue, I’ll just say that if you ask Alexa to play music, she won’t play anything unless you have an amazon prime unlimited music subscription. Alexa at home will use whatever subscription you have…. Pandora, Tidal, Spotify to play music But I could not get the Ford to recognize the Apple Music skill.

I have only ever used Alexa to play my Amazon Music playlist, and Siri for Apple CarPlay. Try prompting Alexa in your Mach-E, “Alexa, play my <playlist name> playlist on Apple Music.” Report back if it works.

Good advice. So I tried it, and Alexa said "Apple Music is not supported on this device." Interesting.

I wonder if this would be the same for Tidal/Pandora/Spotify. I tried asking for music from iHeart Radio and that worked, so I know that the Skills are sort of working.

Yes I have it in my 2022GT and like it because it lets me do stuff by asking rather than having to look at the screen which because I am still learning about the car and controls is much safer. I haven't seen any drawbacks to it yet.

I’m cheap so I let my connectivity subscription expire. That wiped Alexa out. I now use the Siri button on the steering wheel to bring up my music on Apple CarPlay. Always an option for you as well.

I don’t logically see why it wouldn’t work with Alexa since I can use Siri to do exactly that. Ut, logic rarely applies tbh.
