AOSK rear spoiler came loose - better tape?

I've purchased several @AOSK products and think they are well made. Unfortunately, the rear spoiler I installed in March 2024 has come loose :^(

I followed the instructions and carefully cleaned / prepped the paint, so I know it was installed correctly. Maybe bad adhesive tape?

Question:
Can anyone recommend a 3M tape that would hold up well?

3m VHB tape works well but it’s all about the prep. Must be clean, alcohol wipe surface. Once tape is applied it will take 20 minutes to cure 50%. 90% in 24.hours and 100% in 72 hours. I would use painters tape to securely wrap it to the car body and apply pressure for the first 24hours

Mines been on for 2.5 years no issue. Install issue most likely scenario. If it's shifted left, right, up or down just a hair it won't sit flush and won't adhere well. Dry fit first with tape for guides

I added a third thin strip of 3m adhesive tape (between the 2) as there have been many reviews that the ASOK spoiler does not hold well. 6 months, no problems.

3m exterior attachment tape. Believe it was a 1/4 in.

have the split wing style rear spoiler. cleaned and alcohol prepped the paint. Used adhesion promoter (not supplied, have my own) and secured. Been through winter and cawashes.
the right wing came loose from the support post on the center section. re-secured with crazy glue, and its rock solid..... wouldnt try this on paint
autobody supply shops will have 3m tapes - also amazon has small lots, including 2x2 pads which ive found quite useful.

I have experienced this same issue with the V1 spoiler that I installed in March of this year; it has come loose on both ends. I have sent a PM to AOSK and hope to hear from them soon.
