I have a ‘22 premium, and used the FitDVR adapter, 3-pin, for the rain sensor. No issues. No, all Mach E’s with dimming rear view mirror regardless of year or trim have a five pin connector. This will work.

Officially, like with any add-ons, in here……Where is the best place to get 12V switched supply fo a dash cam?
There’s a USB behind the rear view? From the USB port behind the rear view mirror.

That one is not available on Amazon. I'm going to give this one a try since I'm installing a front and rear camera this weekend. https://www.amazon.com/Hifihia-Type-Compatible-Ford-2020-2024/dp/B0DDP99C1P Somebody recommended this camera on this group, so hopefully it works out! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6J5B98HFrom the USB port behind the rear view mirror.

What fuse did you tap for the ACC cable? I found a 2-prong one that is switched (fuse #3) but it will NOT power up the camera. Can't tell if I crimped the wire improperly, or if the tap is directional and I have to switch it up BUT - I can't turn this one around due to a big cable harness in the wayI used a fuse tap to a switched fuse in the passenger foot well, along with a battery pack under the passenger seat. This way I'm not pulling any power from the car's 12v battery when it is parked but the dash cam can still run in park mode.
I don’t have the fuse panel schemati, but here is a picture of mine. Its the second from left on the bottom row. What fuse did you tap for the ACC cable? I'm just running ACC/switched as I have a dashcam battery installed under the passenger seat that only charges while the car is running, but then powers the camera when the car is shutoff. The battery provides the constant/switched to the dashcam for parking mode. Thanks, and UGH! I'm using that exact same micro3 fuse, in that exact orientation, and it won't effing work! Do you have constant wired as well or just ACC/switched? I assume you grounded to a nearby chassis bolt like me? Where did you get your micro3 tap and fuse from? (wondering if I have a bad tap from Amazon, bad fuse from auto parts store, or possibly a bad Viofo HK4 kit).

Do you happen to know if it's *MANDATORY* to have both the ACC and Constant wires tapped at the same time? Or can I use only the ACC wire? (The camera doesn't seem to power on with only ACC connected, not sure if that's a faulty wire or if it just won't work unless all wires are installed)I also have a Viofo A229 Pro and have it hardwired into the fuse panel in front of the passenger foot well. Never had any issues.
Note: one oddity, I also have it tapped into a separate unswitched fuse for parking mode, so have both switched and unswitched power taps. The switched powers it up at start, and the unswitched takes over when car is 'off'. But I don't need or want dash cam footage of the inside of my garage so I used to reach up and turn off the dash cam using the camera's buttons. After a few instances of getting in my car and finding the camera still recording in parking mode after having turned it off, I decided to put in a kill switch inline with the unswitched power wire. This positively shuts off power to the camera with the car parked and off. Not sure how the power circuit is controlled inside the camera but clearly it's not perfect. You can avoid all that by simply not wiring it up for parking mode.
Have you by chance checked the usb connection behind the mirror? On the off chance vibrations something loose.I just want to chip in, I've had the dongar adapter for a bit over a year now powering a VIOFO A229 Plus front and rear cameras for my '23 GT and only recently started having issues with the unit randomly powering down shortly after startup. I'd have to unplug the USB C cable and replug it back it and it would only sometimes randomly continue to work.
I just did a quick test with the 12v cigarette port that came with the cameras and it seemed like it was working without issues, but I'm going to do more testing. I really wanted to avoid running cables, but I'd much prefer working cameras.
The dongar adapter worked so well for over a year and I'm really unsure why it only recently started having problems. I think the issues started shortly after I had the 12v door recall done and I'm wondering if that could have had anything to do with it???
Hopefully this is just a power issue and worse case I'll pickup wiring from a spare fuse in the passenger well, but in the meantime I'm going to just test the cigarette lighter and see if that rectifies my current situation. I don't like how the cigarette lighters continue to run for 10-12 minutes after the car shuts off, but maybe I can change that in forscan if I don't run a new circuit from the spare fuse.
Edit: Drove the car this morning with the cigarette power source and it ran without ANY issues. At this point It's very obvious the dongar adapter has failed after about a year and a half of use. As much as I liked the idea of hiding the wiring up there, it's obvious that the dongar adapter was not built for long term use (or maybe not for a two-camera system?). Either way I'm going to do what I should have done originally and hardwire it from a spare fuse in the passenger seat fuse box.
