It nevers fails. Reviewers forget to test the actual range of Tesla vehicles, look at other reviews or ask actual owners to realize inflated values exist.

This article is another reminder of how much Motortrend absolutely sucks at testings EVs. No range tests, no charging curve tests, no adas tests, and no thermal tests. Everything in that article save for the subjective driving impressions could have been written by anyone with internet access and a spreadsheet. I've given up on reading their opinions on EVs and primarily stick to outlets that put in the work to gather real world data.

Their Head2Head series used to be so good. It's sad to see how lazy they've gotten.

I like it right up to the C pillar, then it seems like they didn't know what to do with the sloping roof and window space, just like the iX.

Also, zero mention of charging? I'd love to see more Ultium charging stats. And a Tesla head-to-head with no talk of build quality? Whaaaa???

And as for styling, throwing shade on the Mach-E because it looks like the "old" ICE Mustang when we have a MY design as old as the car itself? Sorta felt like they went out of their way to pick on the poor 'ole MME...

All these reviews are biased. Who can wine and dine the best is usually the one who comes out on top. A neighbour of mine use to review cars drove the Blazer EV and he said it was horrible. Especially the new infotainment system. He drove his brothers MME and said it was much better.

" nor as comfy or roomy as the Chevy"

That's just lazy writing. The Mach E is shorter than the Chevy but has more cargo space. Ofc it's not going to be as roomy.

I like the Blazer (reserved one after all) but no SuperCruise on RS right now and it's priced too close to the Lyriq.

Yes, we may be talking about the Blazer, but current talk is less than stellar:

Our Chevy Blazer EV Has 23 Problems After Only 2 Months

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV Left Me Stranded In Rural Virginia

I hate to see an EV getting this much heat since most articles trip over themselves to mention it's an EV in the title with problems, which will just make people think they are all EV problems.

I am enjoying GM having their push for eliminating CarPlay/AA blow up in their faces though. If they were doing it for safety as they claim, should have spent more time making sure the software worked and in general that the car won't leave people stranded.

And it looks like it is not just tester vehicles having issues. It looks like actual owners are as well. Story
