I saw many videos when people were using hand-free , there are some sensors blinking at the front cluster panel and if your eyes are not focused on the front of road, system will give you a warning. but i never have such blinking thing , and when i was using hand-free, even i turn my head away, the system did not even give me a warning. is there something i need to set up ?

The blinking you see above the steering wheel in videos is only picked up by the camera sensor, it is not visible to your eyes.

If you're using BlueCruise handsfree and its not bugging you to keep your eyes on the road, that means you are doing it right. No need to configure anything additional.

Don't turn away your head to test it. With someone else in the car, able to grab the wheel, and no traffic, simply close your eyes for 5 seconds or more. Or, stare at the big screen in the center (not the dash). It will warn you, no problem.

Putting a hand at the 12 o’clock position on the steering wheel will do the same thing. Apparently, I need to check that sensor regularly.

Or, cut a piece of cardboard out. While driving with Bluecruise, hold it in front of that small screen...

Nope. You are all good. If you saw the "hands free" display on the driver's screen then you don't have to do anything else.

Those blinking lights are there all the time, whether or not you are using BlueCruise. You just can't see them due to the light wavelength used. You didn't look away long enough for the car to complain.

You won't either, the wavelength used is invisible to human eyes.

If you want to see them, start the car and use your phone to video a few minutes. Then watch the video.

You have a Select, so you probably doesn't even have the driver monitoring camera seen in these videos. It's only on vehicles that have the Hands-Free BlueCruise option.

Said they were using handsfree... If they don't have it, that would be truly amazing.
