There has to be a good reason they are not pushing it OTA. Not that I have any idea what that reason is. I say this because as soon as they can provide it they'll be collecting $600 from every taker.

They are pushing it already, just not to regular customers. It is being tested with internal cars to make sure everything is working.

A couple of weeks and don't know much more than that. Good news: I haven't heard any rumblings of it being a flop! Ford high-ups are still indicating it is coming soon, including Darren Palmer last week saying September-October.

GTs are not getting it. GTs are coming from the factory with it. No OTA update has been sent to anyone.

These are basic questions and I apologize if it’s been answered previously. Do I have to get the update(s) for my MME at the dealership? Will I not get them OTA? If not, what is the point of keeping my car connected to my home WiFi? Second, if mine came with the BlueCruise prep package, do I still need to pay $600? Lastly, when I use BlueCruise now, it lane keeps hands-free and distance keeps feet-free. Now, after a few seconds of my hands not on the wheel, I get the orange indicator to put my hands back on the wheel. What will the additional $600 do? TIA.

BlueCruise will be delivered OTA.
Yes, you will have to pay $600.
In Blue Zones on mapped highways you will be able to drive hands free for extended periods.

You will get the updates via OTA. Dealer will not do these updates. No one has gotten the update yet, You're stuck waiting like all of us.

You do not have bluecruise now, you have copoilot360, and it's the same tech that other Ford cars have. Once your car downloads BlueCruise, The $600 will get you the ability to keep your hands off the wheel and it will track your eyes to verify you're paying attention. So instead of keep hands on wheel pop up, you'll get a keep eyes on road pop up.

How do I tell build date? Purchased on 7/3/21. Dealership got it night before. I’ll check window sticker.

You stated "when I use BlueCruise now". You're not using BlueCruise, your vehicle does not have it.

Based on your delivery date, you have the prep package. When BlueCruise comes out via OTA update, you will have to pay $600 to activate it.

BlueCruise isn’t coming OTA anytime soon. Ford hasn’t even released the PowerUp 1.7 that was promised for September. If they can’t get their crap together for that, they sure aren’t ready to release BC.
