That is almost a troll level response. "Not Yet" can be taken very positively, but then just saying they will discuss future OTA updates, not that specific update, in the future is like, well wait...

For now will take it on the positive side and assume they just don't want to commit to the OTA timeline. I will be refreshing the internal OTA update document though for it to show up...

Ah yeah, that context makes a lot more sense. Well... fingers crossed! Between our F-150 with BlueCruise and a Mach-e we haven't even taken delivery of yet, it would be a double bummer to be left behind on this feature. Would still love the vehicles, but I really want to see Ford truly embrace new big features like this for existing owners. I think this is the best chance so far for them to do so.

Notice the absence of when it's coming to existing vehicles. That is NOT unintentional.
Well, it says coming this fall and there won't be any 2023 vehicles delivered before the end of the year....

ETA: Yes, I am an eternal optimist.

Since BlueCruise is a subscription, I think it's safe to say they are coming to old models (with a sub).

Honestly, I just wish BlueCruise 1.0 would work for me since purchasing my vehicle 18 months ago ... first the BC delay, then when it started rolling out we felt like we were last in line only to have it arrive and immediately get hit with being sent to the seventh level of Front Camera Fault hell.

Someone with a Twitter account should ask Mike Levine about that.
Take it fwiw, but him and another Ford communications guy are liking tweets and responding. Seems like it’s coming eventually but they don’t wanna announce

Yeah, he blew it because the word "eventually" was in the question. He should have said, "Yes, eventually".
That’s really s*itty. Now I really feel like a gen1 beta tester for ford

I think it's safe to say that it won't be delivered to my car before my free year of BC expires, so I likely won't ever try the new features.
Fools bet. Given Ford's progress on a software update already implemented on cars since July 2021 (*cough*frunk*cough*) it's probable that BC will be a vague memory before we see that.

Let’s think positively…. Maybe they’re just tired of missing dates, so figure it’s safer to say it’s going to ship with ‘23 models out of the gate and then whenever they get to OTA the rest they will… but won’t commit to when
Farley probably got sick and tired of people here complaining about their frunk button update and told them to delete any mention of updating 21s/22s from the press release.

Ford has done some stupid things, but there is no way that they're dumb enough to orphan 2 model years of Bluecruise. It would probably cost them extra to maintain 2 different versions, or create liability to deny safety-related updates (like slowing down for curves and keeping distance from other vehicles).

See post #21.

Did you read the fine print in the press release?

BlueCruise 1.2 will be delivered to all 2021 and 2022 Mach-Es, except for Jimrpa's, because we have to give him a frunk button, which is promised sometime before 2036,
