BlueCruise Map Update: Possible Solution That Worked! (Procedure Per Ford Support)

I just wish someone would share how they know which version you have...
I just wish I could figure out if I have 3.5.3, 3.5.2, or something else... Can someone please enlighten me before I do the 10 times on off game.

So with my brand new 23 I had the same issues. Got the date to update with the 10 times in and out (looked like a psychopath in my garage at work). Still was not able to get the HF bluecruise to engage. Did the 21 fuse pull last night and had handsfree my whole commute in. The raindance does work for all you 2023 new owners.

My map actually updated yesterday while I was charging and had to pull fuse 21 again to get blue cruise to work. Going to have to keep the needle nose pliers in the car until this gets sorted out

My last hope so far is to pull the fuse, I looked at them briefly, looks like I have one that’s in 21/22 slot, I’m assuming that’s the one I need to pull?

I only know what I’m on because when I got the updates, the app told me they were 3.5.2 and 3.5.3.

So I finally got mine fixed. Took 24 hours at a dealer, but I now have Bluecruise maps updated! Haven't had the chance to test yet. Some notes :
1. GWM updates did nothing. This is what the selling dealer said they forgot to do. Dealer initially did this, said the car was fixed and almost sent me on my way until I showed the maps expiration in the settings.
2. Service rep said that they needed to update the module they plug into under the steering wheel (I'm forgetting the name). Once that updated, everything just followed.
3. I had another issue : missing the "entertainment" tab. The mechanic didn't want to touch the car until the service rep showed him another Mach E on the lot with the latest updates already installed... the mechanic then looked and pushed me the latest software... I now have the latest Ford Power Up update!

Seems as though the dealers are having issues with the new highly electronic EVs. Especially since the UI and features can change from quarter to quarter. They don't know what it's supposed to look like and do. I'd say ford needs to keep a running site where dealers can go and see what the latest versions of everything is supposed to do and look like.

Anyway... just wanted to let you know this issue IS something the dealer can fix.

Literally happen to me while I was at work. HF worked on the drive in and didn’t on the way home and noticed the date updated to June 2023. Just reset the fuse again

One quick question, do you have the camera button at the top of the home screen? My 2023 came with all the latest features of 4.1.2 except the camera button. I hope Ford didn't forget the 23's are missing this feature and that they need some kind of OTA update to get it.

I do NOT have a camera button at the top... I also have a '22, not a '23. It was just delivered to the dealer very late lol.

In general settings it says I have :
Sync 4 Software version : 22228_product
Revision: 539

In the ford pass app I have a notification saying I have the ford power up.

I had (still have technically) a '23 on order... but I ran out and bought a '22 on Dec 30 after I found out on Dec 29 the Mach E was losing the tax credit on Jan 1.... I'll update my profile now!

Have updated maps (now at June 2023 from April) but BCHF still didn't work for me today. I pulled Fuse 21 after getting home, going to try and test it out this weekend and see if that made a difference.

The camera button didn't make the cut for the software loaded on the '23s, so it will indeed arrive later in a software update. This is per information I read on this forum in other threads, FWIW.
