Job 1 MME here as well with no working HFBC but my maps do show as functional through April. (Last PU for me was 3.6.2.) Do your maps show as expired or active? HF work for you previously? Curious if my (our) issue is related to everyone else or just coincidental.
HF has been working me up until yesterday on my drive home from work (>30 miles). It had just completed update to 4.1.1 after getting 3.6.2 the night prior. Uncertain whether my last attempt worked or was coincidental. Trying again today and will check maps later tonight.

Check your map expiration date. Per other posts in this thread, there's a new maps update that moves expiration from April to June and that might leave you in a disabled state until you pull+reinstall fuse 21.

Tried the fuse trick, didn’t work of course. Glad I paid for BC and can’t use it.

Hands Free just stopped working yesterday after it had been working for a few days.

My maps updated last week and I pulled fuse 21. This enabled hands free for the first time since I took delivery. It’s disappointing to see it stop working after a few days. I hope there is a long term fix other than pulling a fuse once a week.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

HF was back for me this afternoon when I had A surprise client meeting. I’ll have to check versions tomorrow - wouldn’t be shocked if there was an update pending.

Took delivery of my 23 on the 14th of December. No BC. Then about 2 weeks later, BC activates all of a sudden. No OTA updates, no reboots, no trips back to the dealer, nothing special. Good things come to boys who wait.

This is about the 5th different thread I've seen on this site.
If the dealership does a master reset on the car when you buy it, Blue Cruise has a 14 day waiting period before it will activate again.

My car seems to have gotten 3.5.2 recently. Not sure exactly when, but I was positive I couldn't see any PowerUp version on the car when I first got it, and now I do. Might have only been a couple days ago.

I am sure we've done at least 10 ignition cycles since then and still haven't convinced the maps to download. Unfortunately, I'm going to be gone on business for a couple weeks, but maybe my wife driving it around will convince it to grab them.
I’ve been on a business trip for the last week. While I was gone, I got a notification that this update had been installed. Weird, because we already had it, but I always seem to get Ford’s notifications / emails very late, so whatevs.

But on a hunch, I checked last night and it looks like we did get the map update finally. Soon as I get a chance, gonna go see if hands-free works now.

OTA “hotline” told me I had no updates available and noticed there was some strange things he saw on mine but didn’t tell me what the strange things were. He had me do a reset in the car, then one on/off cycle, said if it still doesn’t work take it to a dealer, ugh.

No wonder you don't get OTAs, ha. Repeated short trips drain the 12V battery and will cause OTAs to fail. Vehicles that are never driven or charged for 1 hour or longer at a time will almost never attain a fully charged 12V battery, so a longer drive may be required to get an OTA completed.

If the OTA fails you should send me your VIN so I can see why.
Hey....I'm not getting OTA's either......still waiting on a Blucruise and the HVAC update. Called Ford yesterday, and the lady I spoke to didn't seem too 'educated'....and was really unsure of what to do. She had me toggle some switches on and off - and then declared that I have 'connectivity issue'....gave me a case number and referred me to my dealer.

If I send you my vin, are you able to see if she is correct? I just want to take the car to the dealer - again.

No worries if you can't!

updated to add: My Blucruise works fine.....used it yesterday - but it's not updating the maps.

Same here. Like you, I have a '22 GT.

According to a forum poster who purportedly ran into a Ford engineer at a charging station back in (early? 2021), Ford likes to batch updates by car model (and sub-models with like component parts as some components can change even within a build year).

So, I wonder if many '22 GTs are getting these updates all at the same time. Hopefully the updates keep coming...
I have a 22 GTPE and no updates since September :-(. Maybe I'll be in the next batch.

Was able to test mine and it finally worked, still don’t understand why the jumping through hoops is necessary to get included features to work, but whatever.

Update for me as well. After I pulled fuses #11 and #21 for 5+ minutes and letting the wife take it for a spin a couple of times over the weekend, I jumped into it today and as soon as I hit the interstate, it immediately went into "Hands Free" Blue Cruise mode. Was very elated finally to have it. So happy in fact I took a picture of the instrument cluster while driving to post on FB. I then got a lecture from a "former" friend (who owns a Tesla with AutoPilot) how dangerous it was to use the phone while driving as it is not fully autonomous. I wasn't texting and driving but whatever. I had more of a problem with the hypocritical lecture in front of friends and family. Sorry probably still venting.

Anyway, thanks for all the help on the post.

I picked up my 2023 on Dec 1st 2022, I have the new UI like others, but I don't have the camera button and I'm at version 22280_PRODUCT Revision: 592

It keeps telling me no updates are available. I know I have the feature that will drive for you as long as you keep your hands on the wheel.

We keep the car plugged into the Ford Charge Station usually from 6pm to 8am the next morning.

Looking at the json OTA data on ford.com, it doesn't say much.

I signed up for the EAP but still haven't been accepted. I have the feature that will drive for me as long as I keep my hands on the wheel, is that part of BlueCruise or should I try the fuse #21 pull trick?

Closing the loop on this ...

So yes, after we got the notification of 3.5.2 (not the actual software, the late notification) the maps were indeed updated remotely and hands-free is now working.

We've also received 3.5.3 ... and 3.5.3.3 just today.
