BlueCruise Not Available message - anyone else?

Hi,

I had my dealer install bluecruise after the 1.7.1 debacle and all updates were applied. Test drove the vehicle on I-95, set cruise control and activated lane keep and received the below message on my dash - anyone have experience with this?

Went back to service and they scanned my vehicle, received a couple non-communication error codes that "come up all the time on other vehicles" so they weren't convinced it was related

Why didn't you just have the dealer test drive it and see it isn't working? If it isn't working, it is there job to figure out if the error codes aren't showing them the issue... Did you go to Ford Connected Services and make sure it is activated there? If you just got this done today, it sometimes takes a day to kick in.

They did drive it and mentioned the message after handing it off to us. They were unsure if it just meant it wasn't available in the area vs. an actual error code. We also went through other UI/UX issues so took the car to see if those have been resolved.

Checked fordpass and see it as "coming soon" under the connected services. We'll wait and check back later if something updates.

Such a bummer, part of the work order is to TEST BlueCruise on a BlueCruise enabled highway. I know it takes them more time, but it really sucks for people like you, plus they bill Ford as if they did do these test drives!

How hard is it raining? BC can be disabled if the primary camera can't see well enough.

Dealer updated things when car was in for service getting the brake booster replaced and now I get bluecruise not available message

No rain in Arizona, have had the message for over a week now. My dealer test drove mine, but obviously did not check that it worked. On my connected services, it tells me BC Coming Soon.
