This sound I actually kinda like. Doesn’t sound like a gas car, but more like I would expect a performance electric to sounds like.

All the ones that mimic gas engines are fun, but kinda gimmicky.

Anyway, I do like it. But if you can't turn it off, I am not interested. In fact, it would be a disqualifier for me.

Agreed. Definitely needs a stealth mode.

How does it work currently in the Taycan?

I will post some i did at Tampa international covered parking, and not the power stroke yet there’s only 4 available the one in video is a 2015 5.0 I believe. They will be releasing an app this year that allows for more cars and custom sounds. I enjoy mine but it is not for everyone and $1600 just to turn off wouldn’t be worth it. I think it’s realistic and I came from a 2020 5.0 manual and borla exhaust and sounds similar.

it’s funny all who bought a Mach e are so over mustangs and the punk kids driving them the carryover to Mach e must be s horrible experience omg. The cars first name is Mustang I don’t care what follows. I get gag remark but cars and coffee don’t think so in fact next meetup in Jacksonville I will video folks getting shook from it …..emotionally and physically lol. But jokes are there but quickly disappear once you remind them you drive a 0.0 that smoked a 5.0

Integrating iconic sound effects from television and movies is something a lot of people have asked about, so you're not alone. It's certainly a possibility but there are some IP issues we have to work around.

We're looking into licensing some of that stuff in addition to designing unique sounds you haven't heard before.

Probably no surprise, but Star Wars sounds are by far the most requested with TIE Fighter being #1 - followed by Millennium Falcon -

So many options to personalize your sound and really make it yours.

I haven't read through the whole thread yet but is this product dead? I would happily free some tie fighter sounds from Disney's hands and upload to my own car. Yes, I want my mach-e to sound like a Tie Fighter. No, I don't care about the opinions of boomers here.
