Yes I would like to see image of old and now new display that everyone is upset about. Speed limit has always been to the right for me because of my settings I have turn on. Can someone post the images to see the difference? I haven't gotten the update yet.

ike I said, I may not agree with the OP, but I respect that people don't like it. I just don't think Ford gives a damn. They don't seem to care too much about UI problems. This is where other mfgs seem to listen a lot more to user feedback and actually act on it.

Having worked for an extremely large corporation for several decades (absolutely, positively), I don't actually have an opinion on whether Ford cares or not. Ford doesn't exist as a living thinking being. Ford is a legal fiction and doesn't exist outside of that. Certainly, individuals and groups in Ford do care, probably most do in fact, but there is a process and a structure that is rarely conducive to quick changes and action.

As for the UI change, I object to the stupid car icon being front and center under any circumstances. It should always be off to the side with speed in the center.

Ford, like most big companies, can't get out of its own way. You can have a person, or persons, focused on doing things right, but the mass of the entity kills it.

A great example for me is the bedmat I got for my Lightning. Ordered via Ford's Accessory site, ships to dealer, they get a small commission. It was awful quality. They ordered me a replacement. Same crappy quality. I contacted Ford Accessories, and they gave me a case number. Crickets. I gave the info to a Ford employee who sent it to the department responsible. Crickets. I contacted Ford's social media group via Twitter. They said to contact Accessory group, or get the dealer to contact his contacts at Ford (because of course it's the dealer's job to get Ford's vendor to stop shipping crappy quality bedmats). I did, and they said "I'm sorry, but the reality is there's nothing more we can do". For fun, I sent pictures to Jim Farley. Crickets.

Same with the failures of the HVBJB. Ford saying "let's let a dealer with little experience fix it, and you can have $40 a day towards a rental, but it must be a Ford or Lincoln rental".

Somebody needs to cut through the bullcrap at slash and burn the deadwood that exists and break the obstacles that exist. Smash the crap out of them.

But, as I've said before, I knew it would be like this when I bought my 2021 Mach-E. Ford has not surprised me in delivering the experience I knew they would. We just need to keep pushing them, and pushing them, until it changes.

All I know is that I'm glad I even have the display where it is. One of the reasons I decided against a Tesla was it using the large display off to the side. I want it front and center. If the speed is to the right or left, well, I've had cars that had the tach and speedometer side by side, neither was right in the middle.
