Build 2 weeks before order?

I actually direct messaged Ford (from the forum) and they responded and are looking into it. Wow, really seems Ford is stepping it up for the MME. Of course outside of my 67' Stang I've never owned a Ford before. This may be how they do things?

I bet they “escalated to SUV support”? Been there, done that. Nothing happened.

Wow, congrats..... But that seems weird. My order date was 12/18/20 and my build week still says 5/31. Maybe it's related to the version ordered? Anyway have fun and I'm just not so patiently waiting.

I have been thinking it is version ordered, but for those that ordered last year I still think Ford messed up. I ordered a Red, premium, RWD.

… or up to 5/31? Seems more likely.

Mine when to January as well, but it was still built this week as it had been saying for the last month or so.

I’ll give them points for that. More points because they actually called me today, even though I said my preferred contact was email.

They then put me on hold for awhile. The next person asked me what car I was calling about. I said Mustang and she said she was SUV support and started to transfer me.
…..
This “who’s on first” game went on for awhile until I got to somebody that didn’t know who I was or why I called (I didn’t). I hung up.

Pretty much status quo for my past experience with?Ford? customer service.

I had a similar thing happen to my build date, it was moved to 2 weeks before I ordered.
But it seems that the build date of a couple of weeks ago was the correct date. It's been built and is now in transit.

just received the email that my Mach E is built and I should expect it in mid-July.

Great news. Original delivery date was week of 7/1. Then got an email from Ford saying they were delaying delivered until week of 7/28 to ensure my complete satisfaction ). Lo and behold got an email from the dealer on 7/1 that my pony is at the stable ready to go. Yippee Kai Yay Motherf"er. Car passed the "checklist". Most importantly pano roof and panel gap alignments are a-ok. Shes a sweet driving machine.
