Erratic production dates

My production date had originally been 6/7/21 but was delayed a week to 6/13/21. I hadn't checked in a while but today went on and it said 1/14/21! no, not 2022 but 2021. Obviously a bug. Has anyone else noticed random shifting of dates like this?

Evidently everyone with an assigned build week (in June or July at least) is now scheduled for January, in the past.

yes, stuff like that has been commonplace since last year. Different systems use different values for "unknown date", and the web interface isn't smart enough to account for it.

my June date moved to Jan in the past as well. The interesting thing is that happened over the weekend and still not fixed. I called and informed them as well. Concerned they move slow when it comes to software.

Yes. My scheduled for production date was 5/23/21 and as of today (May26), the scheduled for production date is 1/24/21. Still no VIN, Built or Shipped date. Huh? This is concerning especially with the chip shortage. Is there a massive rescheduling happening?

my June date moved to Jan in the past as well. The interesting thing is that happened over the weekend and still not fixed. I called and informed them as well. Concerned they move slow when it comes to software.

unless chip shortage has caused them to be pushed to Jan 2022 and the error is in the year....I hope not but....

Hmm. I was able to extract my VIN from the data on the ford website as soon as I had an estimated build date using the guide in this very handy thread:

Of course, one could also get a VIN by asking the dealership once an estimated build date was assigned.

If you never had a VIN, I'm wondering if that original production date could ever have been trusted to begin with. My understanding form my research on this forum is that having an estimated build date directly implies a VIN has been assigned. The two go hand in hand.

I have the same original build date, as well as the same glitch date. I do have a VIN--for some time now--but no build or shipped date. I expect the build date to show up next week once production is complete. But I also admit to checking obsessively.

I had my "week of 5/23/21" production date mysteriously change to "1/24/21" a week ago - like so many have here.
Today my order status changed to "Built" and then 5 hours later "Shipped".
Both of these order status changes came with emails from Ford.
It looks like my original "week of 5/23" production date was still true and I expect to take delivery in 5-6 weeks!!
