Build 2 weeks before order?

so it’s build week! Technically. Online account seems to be updated but I haven’t received any emails they started production. Should I have?

Same thing happened to me. It went from the week of June 14 to Jan 14. Hopefully it is corrected and doesn't mess up production.

No. You’ll find out it’s done when you get the in transit notification on the Ford website. Or when you check on the various trackers including the one linked on this forum.

Build week is really start of build week. There are at least 5 different days it could start.

I can't believe this hasn't been corrected yet. My date went from 6/14/21, to 1/14/21. That was almost a week ago that this happened.

Kinda makes one think it’s more that a simple typo. Perhaps something is going that we don’t understand and ?Ford? isn’t tell us about.

Yeah, seems to be a anomaly. I just got my build week this morning and it says 1/19 on the website but it's actually 7/19. Something weird going on!

Wow, congrats..... But that seems weird. My order date was 12/18/20 and my build week still says 5/31. Maybe it's related to the version ordered? Anyway have fun and I'm just not so patiently waiting.

I saw the salesman’s screen with the data he has. Everything says build week 6/7 though mine still says 1/7. He says that nothing he has access to says anything about a January build date.

I just went to check and now mine says build week of 1/31/21. Does that mean my build week just got pushed back to July???

… or up to 5/31? Seems more likely.

Yay. Scheduled build date was 5/23/21, then earlier this week that date changed to 1/24/21 (WTF?). Yesterday (5/27/21) I received a built date, a VIN, and a scheduled delivery of between 7/1 and 7/7.

So, it seems things are moving along and that the January 2021 update was a glitch. Fingers crossed until actual delivery and the car passes inspection using the forum checklist.

There are a few threads about the dates this week. There is obviously a bug/typo in the website code causing May, June, and July builds to show a January date. Happened to me too. I e-mailed the dealer and they confirmed the correct date and provided a VIN.

I actually direct messaged Ford (from the forum) and they responded and are looking into it. Wow, really seems Ford is stepping it up for the MME. Of course outside of my 67' Stang I've never owned a Ford before. This may be how they do things?
