I was driving with passagers that have never been in an ev. I was pulling out onto a feeder. There was a car behind me. When I pulled out the passager says did they bump the back of your car? I said I don’t think so, that was the break release.
When we got back to work they checked to see if there was damage. There was none.
Can ford fix this bump? Seems easy enough. Just don’t engage the motor so soon after releasing the break. So maybe it takes a second off specs but if it is a selection who cares? I would be happy with a little more time to eliminate that bump.

Do you have Auto Hold enabled? If so, turn it off and see what difference that makes.

That was literally the very first thing I turned off when I got my car. Before I even left the dealership. Not sure what that feature is for anyway....???

With 1PD, auto hold is effectively always on, too.

I haven't been able to completely eliminate the brake release judder you're describing, but I can diminish it quite a bit by more gently easing into the accelerator pedal. I barely press into the pedal, wait a beat for the brakes to release, and then press further into the pedal.

Give that some practice and see if it helps for your situation, too.

I never notice this. I wonder if the AWDs are less prone to it?
