California Clean Vehicle Rebate approved

I got a email today the my GTPE was approved for the $2000 rebate. This is a 6 mo process and I wasn't sure the GTPE would qualify. Now I just have to wait 90 days for the check to come. Started the application on 11/1/21.

It should not take that long to get the check. I got the email saying it was approved and I got the check about a week later.

Still waiting on the determination for my GT-PE’s application. I started my application a few weeks after @Xlch59 so maybe I will hear back before the middle of next month. ?‍?

You can check the website and see what dates they’re processing now or I think the estimated wait time for the time you applied.

Applied 10/21, approved 01/25, mailed 2/15.

Ugh... I got all excited about possibly getting another $2K back, but I am not eligible. Bah.

Mine was rejected.

I got tired of waiting for my order to be built and ended up purchasing from a dealer in Las Vegas (CA dealers were adding crazy mark-ups). I had the vehicle shipped to my door. Never owned, operated, or registered in Nevada at any point. Odometer was 16. Paid full CA sales tax and registration. After months of waiting they said I am not eligible since I bought out of state. Infuriating!
