You're basing my past vehicle purchases on an assumption that I don't attempt to buy American products as a whole. My choice to purchase several Audi's in the past are because they have been reliable and they fit my needs whereas many other options at the time didn't or I had prior bad experiences with those brands. Ultimately, I'm going to protect myself and my family. The government has policies to do the same, protect our investments and increase reliance of domestic supply chains. All I'm saying is that there's a lot of EV options that are made here and I feel they should have chosen those vehicles over the MachE. It's not an insult to the MachE and it's unfortunate that Ford shipped assembly out of the country. Ford's reasoning for doing this is because of the free trade agreement Mexico has with the Asian and European regions. It's just a money grab on behalf of Ford while hurting American auto workers.

Yes, technically America is a continent, but Americans are typically referred to as those in the USA and that's the way I'm using it. Being that I speak, read and write fluent Spanish, in some parts of South America they actually refer to us as "Estadounidenses" or people of the United States rather than "Americanos" or Americans.

Children stop the nonsense. Buy what you like since in our country its called freedom of choice.

How long will a high speed chase survive a battery drain?

Not to pick on this post in particular. But having once lived in Cambridge MA for several years, the idea that there would be a high speed chase of any substantial duration through those streets is pretty entertaining.

Maybe on Memorial Drive at 3am. I think you'd get maybe a good 2-3 mile run there before other towns' police forces would be joining due to the chase reaching their own home turf.

Boston/Cambridge streets have come a long way, but they are still just another breed entirely. I can see EV patrol cars doing pretty well there.

Yeah you’re right about that. Got my haircut in Cambridge for many years. Generally though, this is something that police deal with and Cambridge is one of many police forces buying the electric pony. Ford must be giving them a decent discount to overlook the vulnerabilities of the battery pack.

Lol, Canadian here…. Technically that would be true if anyone in the US actually knew that polar bears and igloos don’t magically show up the minute you cross the border into Canada. I actually had a colleague in Hartford Connecticut ask me what power adapter he should bring when he comes here to Montreal. ?. And another man from New York ask me if I would prefer to get a sweater instead of a t-shirt from his store since I live in Canada. I just told him it was for my sled dog and they prefer t-shirts. ?

Spotted this morning in Cambridge, MA!

Is this actually still something special at all? I remember at some point people were pretty excited about Mach-E police cars. How common is that at this point?

On one of the rare occasions I drove in Mt. Vernon, NY, I saw two MME police cars parked, causing me to wish I could unsee what I saw. ??The colors and text defile the beauty of the car. Due to the fact I was driving, I do not I have any pictures of the atrocity. However, I discovered the following link during a search after reading this thread:
