Weren’t the new v4 Superchargers supposed to have longer cables specifically because they were opening the network?

Doesn’t help existing v3 installations but in theory it would get better for non-Teslas no matter where the port is.

Uh... not sure where you hang out but I was just at a Tesla Lightshow event in Orlando (with my Rivian) and after we all went to food trucks and they were basically talking about what they were carrying and where.... while gushing over Lord Elon.

I think it'll be fine... most SCs have a lot of space. I only use them on road trips, but generally there are only 50% full. Many times I'm the only one there (traveling through the night).

Only on 1 road trip did I see a full station, I was the last one there, didn't have to wait.

Also, almost all SC stations have 1 stall for people towing stuff ( they just pull straight in instead of backing up. You could probably use that one, too.

I'm actually excited there's going to be non- teslas there. It means more and more stations will pop up and it's better for everyone. Plus I can look at more EVs. Tired of seeing the same 4 models.

I have seen the the uptime of tesla superchargers and its unbeatable. But does anyone reckon if they provide consistent high speeds for charging?
Depends on your definition of high speeds. It will provide 125kw to a Mach E, but for 800V vehicles it is not so great. My Hummer had to switch to 400V to charge at a Supercharger and could just get a flat 135kw. On an 800V CCS, it is above 135kw at 80%.

Doesn't anyone on this Forum know how to use the Search feature?
I am convinced more people would search if there was simply a search field always sitting up at the top of the page rather than a search button that opens a panel.

The Lightning has a space for a gun safe in the armrest and the back seat locks down over a system that provides locking long gun storage.

I haven't seen comparable options in the CyberWedgie.
Yeah, that's all 14th gen F150s. Lower glove box, center console (without safe), and rear seat storage all locks w/ the key hidden in the FOB. The collapsible / lockable rear under-seat storage is an option. Under seat folds mostly flat when not in use, each side is independently lockable -- perfect for a rifle side / ammo side.

Every time I think of the tesla cult, the south park fart sniffing episode comes to mind. Especially around the 3 and Y launch where they were blissfully accepting their $15k vehicle quality while shelling out $60k. Meh screen, no gauge cluster, fiddle with cumbersome multi-layer menus to do basic things. Panel gaps and general build quality. Bare bones cheap model T, precisely as intended, but with a benz price. LOL doesn't even scratch the surface.

I mean props to elon for suckering in so many people with hot garbage. All of that easy $ did allow them to really up their game and start truly innovating. They're still barebones interiors, just well built/engineered barebones. I find it amazing that there's not more pushback on their horrible interior layouts, or aftermarket solutions to really take them up a notch. No IPC/HUD is a hard pass for me.

Sincere question here: why would a person need to carry so many weapons that they’d need all those different storage locations? (Sorry, I know I’m going off-topic.)

Not really our problem.
I predict that there will be arguments and may even lead to physical confrontation when a non Tesla takes up 2 or more spots, especially when there's a long line.

At that point it may become your problem if you're at the wrong end of someone who can't control their temper.
