Thanks everyone for your input. The only reason I was looking at the ChargePoint is that my 3 year old JuiceBox had started to give me charger faults. As you can see from my pic above I have to make sure the power wire can reach my existing outlet (of course the new unit would go directly where the old one is). However, I got some excellent advise from @Mach-Lee on proper cleaning of the charge port and cable and it seems, for now that the condition has been corrected.
