After two months of driving the range is now showing some serious improvement! This is only the second time we have charged it to full 100% capacity. I drive in Whisper mode and when my husband takes the Mustang out he drives in Unbridled mode.

A weird thing is happening. I’m actually getting more miles per Kw when I’m using unbridled around the city instead of whisper. I’m a little heavy off the line and whisper is a little lethargic, but weird that unbridled is better on range. My AWD range just started hitting 273 today (had been showing 211 when I took delivery, but I’m up to about 900 miles on the car now).

May have to try that. I drove a Bolt for 3 years and got to almost 300 miles on a full charge but this is the best I have every gotten on a full charge. May have to drive "Unbridled" to work tomorrow!

Ford has stated that all three modes actually have the same efficiency.
It makes sense. The only thing that's changing is the throttle mapping, the steering feel, ambient lighting, and how much regen kicks in on throttle lift-off vs partial brake pedal.
So pick which ever mode makes you happiest :)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up sticking with Unbridled with 1PD. I've been getting a pretty consistent 37-3.9 with all the different combinations of driving modes with 1PD on and off, and like the pep of Unbridled and the breaking assist with 1PD. I'm actually having issues adapting back to normal breaking my wife's X1 lol

Agree with @sockmeister. The amount of energy used to speed up, and recouped to slow down, is the same. Unbridled uses this energy quicker, and regenerates it quicker. Whisper uses it slower, and regenerates it slower. But the laws of physics say the exact same energy is used.
The only change would be if you’re using the brake pedal yourself and having to push it hard enough to engage the mechanical brake rather than the regen. If you’re driving in whisper mode and it isn’t stopping you fast enough, so you’re having to push your brake harder, you won’t regen as much. On the other hand if you’re really enjoying unbridled and it means your having to push the brake harder to stop in time, then you won’t regen as much.

Do you have more than one car on FordPass? That upper left indicator would be troubling if it's for the Mach-E. (FordPass shows the recall indicator for all vehicles on the account, no matter which vehicle is currently selected.)

Yeah I had to delete my 2013 Fusion Hybrid and my 2016 Energi from the app because of all the alerts....and my OCD ?

my guess would be that unbridled has more aggressive Regen... so your 'braking events' are putting more regen energy back in rather than losing it as heat with mech braking.
