Charging only when we have Excess Solar Power?

We have a solar city array on the house that produces excess power (when it's sunny). We are at home most of the day and I'd like to leave it plugged in, but ideally only charge when our solar is producing.. Does anyone know if there are wall chargers smart enough to do this? Thanks for any help.

Enphase sells chargers that do exactly that. Whether it's compatible with the rest of your solar installation is another questions.

Emporia EVSE coupled with an Emporia Vue energy monitor. They are both fantastic. I bought the combo for the excess solar setting, but I haven’t tried it yet since my solar installation isn’t until next month.

As others stated above, the Emporia EV charger will charge your car from excess solar. I have two of these chargers, one on either side of the garage (for each stall) and they have been working flawlessly for going on 3 years. I charge 100% with solar (excess during the day or from the Powerwalls at night which are only charged from solar).
