Someone showed up at a dealer with a chrome wrapped MME!

It's very bling bling no doubt and could be for a marketing purpose (it's plated "commercial use"), but what's your opinion?

Back in the 60's I had a friend who 100% polished an alloy bodied Austin Healy, then painted it with clear epoxy to keep it from tarnishing. But he smoked a LOT of weed.

Oh yeah... and he was from Quebec.

It's probably illegal modification as it hinders visibility and affects other drivers on the road. Also insurance may refuse to cover this car.

First time someone has an accident they will blame it on being blinded by sun reflection from the car. Big time liability. Showed this to my lawyer neighbor and he just shook his head and said the guy is going to have big issues with liability.

We have no fault insurance here so nobody can get sued for car accidents. There's no liability however he may get a nice fat ticket.

I kind of like it in a futuristic, UFO sort of way. Would I do it? Nope. But I don't have an issue with any choices an owner makes with their property. If that's how they want to roll, who are we to judge?

I would wonder how many accidents he/she may cause when sun/headlights reflect back in other drivers' eyes. Does make me wonder if the wrap will help keep internal temps down when its sitting in the sun...

If Ford can call the Mach-E a Mustang then Lucasfilm can call the prequels "Star Wars" so there *

*=of course this isn' t implying that the Mach-E is crappy at all like the prequels just addressing the controversy LOL.
