Completing paperwork before delivery. Is it possible?

I have my VIN and window sticker. While waiting for delivery, I’m wondering if it’s possible to complete all the paperwork? That’ll give the dealership time to figure out any issues like Ford Options, price protection, etc. I tried doing a search and only saw that you have to have a VIN number in order to start the paperwork, but didn’t see anyone successfully completing paperwork prior to the car being delivered.

I started my paperwork a few days before what was supposed to be delivery day. got all the numbers including my trade in ... so i could try to shop around ..
then when it took 3 weeks to arrive .. they still honored all the numbers they had given me ... actually did the unthinkable for a dealership -- found me a better interest rate while they've been rising. car was delivered to the lot around 930 am .. i got to the dealership at around 5pm .and off the lot a little bit after 6 ... did the final signatures, switched the plates, and got a little extra charge..

No, you cannot complete the paperwork before the vehicle arrives.

Yes, your dealership can fill out the paperwork and send you a copy to review.

I was able to get my ford options approved and payments/rate locked in prior to delivery. Then, when the car arrived, I just signed and drove off. First trip to the dealer took about an hour and when I picked up it only took about 1.5 hours.
