Wouldn't taking the car into the dealership for repairs and reprograming the modules be the PERMANENT solution to the problem?

Maybe? But it’s a PITA and people with the recent updates still seem to be having issues.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) the forum here seems to figure out the easy workarounds waaaaaaay before your dealer ever does.

Would you rather leave your car at the dealer for a few days or hit a couple buttons or unplug your battery? I would rather do the latter. Plus at the dealer you run the chance of a total waste of time when they can’t “recreate the issue,” or tell you your car is totally updated already.

FWIW, after the battery unplug my connectivity settings are back for now. No updates yet but I’ll keep monitoring.

Another update- I had connectivity settings for a few days, then half the time, then again they went away.

I called Ford customer service for OTA at 833-389-0848 and they went through regular troubleshooting then suggested the following-

Reset FordPass connect- in general settings

Turn off connectivity (had to remote start to get the menu to pop up) then turn it back on.

Delete my car from FordPass, then add back.

Set PAAK back up.

She said this should have me get the “next update.” But will take a few weeks.

We shall see!

Good to hear, but my issue is I haven’t gotten an update in 5 months. Thus no 6.6 or 6.5 or 5.1 etc.

Sounds like you’re stuck. You might need to do a FDRS update

Good to hear that people with connectivity issues still got future updates, so hopefully it’s unrelated.

I have the same issue, but I cannot turn Connectivity off (i.e. can't update privacy settings). Additionally the app doesn't let me remote connect to the car, as it tells me I need to turn Connectivity settings on (I'm on 6.2.0).

Try deleting your car from the FordPass app and adding it back in.

Nope. Now the car won't connect to the FordPass app at all, so I can't see any info on the Mach-E. Meanwhile on the Mach-E, everything is the same (Connectivity showing as enabled, but there is no indication it is connected).

It's at the dealership now, trying to figure this out.

I may be in a similar boat. I had a bad 12V battery, so I dropped my First Edition off on Friday, get it back on Saturday only to have no connectivity, no working PaaK, and a Driver ID app. The Driver ID app pointed to a TSB, so the car went back on Monday for a GWM reprogram. The dealer is supposed to drop off my vehicle today with the issue persisting, as the TSB didnt solve it. The missing connectivity features have me thinking this can be related. My last OTA was 6.4, with 6.6 failing. I briefly saw the frunk button appear when they Initially worked on it, so i'm likely at 6.7 or newer now.

When I had connectivity issues like that last summer (no FordPass communication), I pulled the 11/12 fuse for the telecommunications module (TCU module) for 10 minutes to reset the TCU module. That worked for me.

The fuse is in the passenger side footwell. #11-12. It’s a 5amp 3 prong fuse. I was able to get to it and pull it out with no tools. Just pull the cover off. It’s a bit of a weird angle but easy enough. Just be careful not to drop the fuse, it’ll get lost. I held my hand underneath the other just in case.
Pull the fuse, wait 10 minutes, reinstall. Turn on the car.

Trying it now, but my first attempt (3 min removed) had no impact.
