Maybe I'm missing something but that doesn't make sense to me? If they did every update, then why didn't they update the gateway module from -LKB to -LKC or PAE?
Because the update isn’t in the queue for my car. Dealer can only do updates that show up as available.

The issue is apparently on the server side (Ford).

I see. Never heard of that issue before, but doesn't mean it's not happening. Do keep in mind that the tool that Ford dealers use to update software, FDRS, won't show available updates if there are dependencies that need to be updated first.

The dealer should know this (and in the message you copied it implies that they do know this), but some dealer techs are more familiar with the software update process than others, so putting it out there just in case.

Unfortunately the dealer isn’t aware.
This is back end, behinds the scenes stuff.

Not that the dealer knowing would matter, they can’t fix it. Gotta wait for Ford.

Please note if you ever get it resolved. I just realized I am in the same situation. No reason to take it to the shop if they can’t fix it.

Unfortunately I still haven’t gotten an update. Going on 8 months now.

Only reason I’m just waiting at the moment is that nothing of substance has come out in the last 8 months.

I had not even noticed the connectivity issue until recently - just thought I was not in the queue as I do not have BC.
