Heading into my 4th week of down time with no confirmed ETA. Dealer hopes to get the part before Friday and return the vehicle next week. Has anyone had success with this replacement part?

I was told the parts come off of back order today, but I haven’t heard anything.

Sadly the most frustrating part for me is paying a car note on something in the shop and driving around a lessor vehicle. Really wished they would have given me an electric loaner or pay my car note while it sits for a month.

Still waiting on my side to. The dealer told me the part are in stock apparently in USA but no ETA.

Part is finally at the dealership, waiting for the work schedule / return date. Some positive progress and hope this resolves the issue long term.

Good news to share, vehicle was returned today :) Although, I am concerned about long term reliability and availability of parts, it feels good to be back in action.

Dealer told me my parts are still in queue with no ETA… its very frustrating.

Brutal :( hopefully they arrive this/next week. At the very least, I can confirm that the right part shipped vs. what I read on another forum.

Just got a call from the dealer, they’re are requiring the loaner car back stating that Ford only covers a loaner car for 30 days. Any time outside of the 30 days for a loaner car will be on my dime. Meanwhile, my car remains in the shop with no ETA on when the part will arrive and can be fixed. At this point, the car has been in the shop as long as I got to drive the car. I am about to call Ford and put them on blast, there is no way they can charge me for a rental because of Ford issues that are beyond my control.

Same Here... tomorrow it will be 30 days without our beloved mach-e. The dealership gave us a brand new Dodge Charger to drive, on 4/23, but they want to trade us now, for a Ford Edge. Ugh.
I was told today that now the estimated date for the part availability, is 5/30. Is that IN-SHOP? I doubt it. And is there a Queue?
How much longer will we be without the auto we CHOSE to inve$t in, along with the 15kw solar panels we installed to help with charging?
How much longer will we need to BUY GAS/FOSSIL FUEL?

Hmmmm... I wonder if Ford offered 0$ down w/0$ financing specifically because they were: Anticipating Challenges like this?!!!

THE REAL ISSUE is... has anyone ever gotten Ford to pay for their rental or for the GAS they had to buy for their loaner while the car they purchased from Ford, was held captive waiting for a Ford part???

The dealer tried to go down the route of charging us for the loaner after 30 days, but I was able to get ahold of Ford Customer care, they opened up a case and got in touch with the dealer and straightened things out. They just put us in another car. We have been out of our car since April 5th. I doubt they are reimbursing anyone on gas, I really wonder how widespread this problem is. The frustrating part is crickets on communication and that we are in a queue to receive the parts.
