Maybe you saw this and didn't know that your car had decided to navigate you somewhere unexpected! My car has a couple of times picked some random location that I have never been to or searched for and set a nav point to it when I started the car. No idea where it comes from and I would probably be annoyed if it wasn't kind of funny.

And I have had it occur a few times as a glitch or operator error and just clear it out on the nav screen. (Most likely Op error!)

You all must not be Apple Maps users. With 6.14, Apple Maps started displaying what the OP showed. It’s new to us (users of Apple Maps), but not to those of you who used the native Nav. I only know this because my wife insists of driving the Mach-E like it’s the 1990s, with Ford’s nav and AM radio, 2-pd, traditional key fob. Frustrates the hell out of me.

Yeah, I generally use Google maps to navigate, but the built in nav is always hiding in the background. The two times I've had the phantom navigation occur it was with the Ford nav that I only use on road trips for preconditioning. But neither phantom destination issue was on a road trip. Just jumping in the car to go to work in the morning and the car decided I needed to go somewhere new. Maybe it thinks I'm in a rut and wants to help out.

It’s a bug. We get a kick out of it every time it does it. Typically it launches on Saturdays when I leave my parents house to head back home (cause I do that every week at the same time). Your estimated delay due to traffic is 7 minutes.

You were right. I never use the Ford navigation app, so that's why it was new to me.

I was referring to the Ford Nav bug and its predictive destination feature. Is that fixed now? I keep turning it off and it comes back to life.

The ford nav settings has a setting for i think called predictive location, you turn that off so it doesnt do that anymore. It tries to guess based on your trips where you are going.
