I think a good way to do it would be to combine those controls to the wheel so that at first you press one category you want to adjust and then just spin the wheel to do the adjustment.

And on the topic of hackers using f150 remotes to access the frunk, we here on the old continent have that button on the remote, it just doesn’t do anything(and this is 2 years after the launch…)
If you got somebody to do the GFM and BCM updates in FDRS it probably would work now.

You even have BC? That's been hyped since the beginning and before anyone could get a large enough sample of retail user feedback on other nice-to-haves.

But, here I am, a Job 1 with > 16 mos ownership waiting for the 2.8 OTAs to deploy as intended (i.e., I've already answered elsewhere why I haven't already taken my MME in to have the dealer do it).
Sorry, I try to be sympathetic to the various plights presented on this board - there are any number of rational use-cases even if they don't apply to me - but whining about not receiving BC OTA when you get it for free at the dealership isn't one of them. I fully understand general dissatisfaction with OTA updates, but not the BC release. Go get the update, or don't, but don't complain about passing up an update. :)

For the love of all that is holy, THIS! Yes please. If they had reduced the size of the icons they could have squeezed in a fan toggle. It takes too long to adjust the fan (too many taps). How do I know? Because Blue Cruise yells at me to watch the road when I am messing with climate controls.

Hey @FordMotorCompany why do I need a volume toggle on the steering wheel when there is a big ass physical volume knob a blind person could find on my huge display? Why not put fan or temperature adjustment there instead. Just a thought.
Wut? There is a fan and temp on my home screen. Tapping either brings up a slider. Is that not what you've got? It would be even easier if one could use the physical volume knob to adjust a slider after tapping the associated button, but I'm not understanding your complaint.

Unless Alexa can open the hood/front storage compartment/frunk, why would you invest so much effort in giving us yet another voice assistant/data mining app that no one was asking for over the electronic release that we have ALL been complaining about since day 1?
I seriously don’t understand the way y’all are prioritizing stuff.

[/Rant]
You make the incorrect assumption in that the dev team has any say in what features get developed and pushed. It's all marketing team. They want to use "now with Alexa" as a feature in their marketing. Dev guys get told what to do by the marketing/sales. User input is probably at the bottom of the list.

The Auto button essentially toggles can speed. Why have redundant controls?

That isn't exactly the same...related but not same. The Auto is how quick you want to reach the desired temp. So if you want to get there quick and the temp difference is great, the fan will be blasting. But if you are already there, the fan will be reduced. A actual fan control is exactly that...fan control.. (high, med, low)

I would rather have Ford push new features through first (like auto lane change, or auto-nudge you away from a truck on an adjacent lane, or enable on-demand camera views, etc.) before simplifying operation of existing features.

In fact, I was curious what voice command(s) help you set the fan speed? Anyone know?

You may not know about 2 of my 3 service visits to date. Only the 10k oil change was on-time and completed within reasonable time expectations.

Even when I had more flex time over the summer, it's not a good use of my time and others I would ask to keep open schedules and shuttle me for my only car for an undetermined number of days to complete the work. It's even a worse, and more expensive, use of my time now... when OTAs (also FREE) are designed to remove needs like this for an in-person service visit.

Good on those who have 2nd cars, more time and/or more patience than myself.

I'll whine all I want, and continue to do so over the out-of-service time because 2 different dealers didn't have their service act together.

10K oil change? May I ask how much your dealer charged you for the 10K oil change for your Mustang Mach E? Did you happen to save the receipt showing the dealer charging you for an oil change for a Mustang Mach E? If so, I think Ford might want to review that receipt for, you know, quality purposes.

They comped me. It was the least they could do.
