Damn, that's frustrating. I haven't bought OpenPilot / Comma but I've thought about it a few times. I'm not surprised at all however. Makes me wonder how much they changed.
Safety critical CAN signals like steering or throttle actuation now require cryptographic authentication for the module to actually execute the control request, is the biggest part of the CAN bus security changes.

Today ABRP started getting the SoC data from Android Auto. It looks like it may have stared working after I updated AA to v14.3. I tried it on the way home from work and it worked great.

Regarding the OBDLink CX I was unable to get it to work in any app likely due to the authentication issues noted. I do have to say OBDLink did a great job supporting their product. They did their best to help troubleshoot the issue and when it became clear it was not going to work they didn't hesitate to stand behind their satisfaction guarantee and provided a refund. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another product from them if someone figures out the authentication issue.

Edit: Noted Android Auto is v14.3. ABRP is 6.01.

The version I'm seeing of ABRP is 6.0? I'm not sure what you're mentioning for v14.3, maybe Android Auto?

Yes, AA is v14.3. I corrected my post above.

I just picked up my 2025 Rally today, and my OBDLink CX is no longer getting SoC, so I'm dead in the water as far as ABRP is concerned. The OBDLink CX is on the newest firmware, and communications is working, but it simply won't get the data.

Between that and my muscle memory going for the gear selector dial, it's been a less awesome new car day than I would have otherwise expected! ?

FORScan light has the PID's for 2025 now. I have been in talks with ABRP support. They asked if I can get the logs from FORScan with the PIDS but have no clue how to do it.

Did you ever get this working?
Are you Android or iPhone? ABRP will grab the data through Android Auto without an OBD dongle on the 2025's according to OP @BOB4X . You need the ABRP subscription to get the AA data integration on the car screen.
