Door latch DCME failure

2021 Std range AWD.

Problem started a week ago whereby I was getting a ‘door malfunction, service required’ message every time I started up the car along with a very annoying ‘bonging’ sound.
Pressing OK would clear the message until next time. All the doors seemed to work fine but booked the car into my local Ford dealer who diagnosed a near side door DCME fault and replaced the module.

Total cost just over £500, glad I had taken out the extended warranty through Ford.

You won. Nice. Seems like those policies here in the states cost much more. I haven’t gotten one.

not really. i got 8 years (total, so +5 on top of the factory 3) for $1200. so $240 a year by this guy's framework...

My left rear door catch also faulted when they changed the HVBJB when wake up also stopped working?

Had all those annoying bings, bongs & messages? so I feel your pain!

Repair also cost me c£500.

Don’t have extended warranty, my is policy to never buy it for anything, reckon I’m £tens of thousands up so far.

Still an amazing car, small cost to pay for such a motoring experience over 38mths & 93,000miles, luvvit?
