@ChasingCoral see the post of @Marcel. He has seen the planned production date and the VIN so EU cars are definitely made in 2020!
Yes, it looks like some large buyers like your Dutch leasing companies have been moved to the front of the lines. Also those who placed actual orders early.

That's a Feb 10 story. COVID reshuffled the schedule for Ford, putting US (and presumably Canada) deliveries first.

Let's not do that ;) According to my info i posted a couple of posts back, 2000 Mach-E's are being build in the weeks around 20-nov-20 so EU cars are still scheduled to build in 2020.

Correct, regulations did not change or got postponed due to covid in Europe. That might be the reason that they will build EU vehicles still in 2020.

The regulation didn't change, but the data did. COVID also slowed the number of ICE emissions sold, so less pollution to offset. But more importantly, Ford simply can't get any customer units delivered to Europe in 2020 because COVID delayed production almost 2 months, pushing OKTB to Nov 23. It takes longer to ship to Europe than to the US. Since they couldn't get there before the end of the year, the fines don't change whether they arrive in Jan or Feb or Mar.

So Ford shifted the early ones to the US instead to get them in some customers hands in 2020.

Built, but not delivered that soon since it takes longer to ship. The first batch of deliveries still looks like it'll take place in the US (probably late Dec) due to faster shipping.

After that, sounds like maybe a mix. Although even then it's hard to tell which countries and in what #'s. Most European countries don't even have order books open yet.

Seems like every time we think we have a decent estimate, it gets contradicted again.

My dealer can’t either and I asked him yesterday again. So I am little bit surprised that some persons know a production date already. In my portal there is still step one confirmed. Does anyone have more progress visible?

Pour la France même chose que toi, plus de visibilité au cours de novembre vu ce que m'a dit mon concessionnaire hier
