I have installed the drive motor, battery pack and much of the electrics into my 1965 Ford Falcon.I cannot it to turn on unless I place the key fob in the pocket in the console. Even then , the gear selector will not move although the lights and accessories will work. I cannot connect to the OBD connector with Forscan and if I use an ohmmeter connected to the OBD on #6&#14 or on numbers 3 or number 11 I get 124 ohms. What to do?

I had to look at your previous post to make any sense of this, as I missed it. Quite the project! Dropping the key in the center console is failsafe starting, so I wonder if you are missing another Bluetooth sensor. The gear selector in the MME is not physical, it is a rotary encoder and some LED’s. If it doesn’t think the car has a valid key, it won’t change the LEDgear shift lights. Do you get a light on the start button that indicates it is fully started? It seems possible that it is in Accessory mode.

The LED light on the start switch blinks. I did install a wifi sensor on either side of the car but did not remove sensors from either door to install . I also did not connect the keypad

Please forgive this question, the gear selector has a brake interlock. Did that bit of the Mach-e get transplanted?

No problem. I don’t know what you mean by a brake interlock. I installed the entire ABS system with park brake switch. I also fitted front wheel speed sensors to the Mustang II front suspension I fitted to the car.

The gear selector is locked if the brake pedal is not depressed. Is it perhaps looking for the signal? Did the petal box get transplanted?

The entire brake pedal assembly was installed along with a portion of the firewall for reinforcing . I have only installed three of the Bluetooth sensors . Do I need to install all the door sensors ?

Hello everybody! Any suggestions on what to do when the start switch blinks
green? I understand the remote is waiting for a status update Do I have to
sign in to Ford pass or do I have loss of signal situation? I know my cell
phone reception is poor in the barn where I work on the car. Could this be my problem?

The blinking start is accessory mode. Like the first key position on a physical switch. You enter accessory mode if you have a valid key, but it does not detect you pressed the brake pedal. That is the brake interlock folks were talking about. I don’t have a service manual, so I have no clue what sensor activates the interlock detection. I don’t know if it is the same as the brake light switch, or something else.

I have a service manual on PDF but I cannot find reference to my fault. My 12 volt auxiliary battery measures over 13 volts so, I don't think that is at fault. When I apply the brake pedal , the brake lights come on . I do know that the cell phone service in my barn is terrible. Is there something I can do to the antenna to boost the signal? Perhaps I may be able to try and download updates. I also see the signal strength icon on the touch screen goes off and on.

I wonder if I have HVBJB failure. The symptoms seem indicate this . Is there any way to force an “on” situation in order to access fault codes?

You should be able to read any faults with an OBD reader. On a working MME, the start button will turn to green while it is activating the HVBJB contactors. Generally any immediate problem will show up in the drivers display.

“@VaporTrails” should do it. No space, no quotes.

All I can do is turn on “accessory” It will not allow me to see any fault codes when I plug in to the OBD with my scan tool
