For the second time since I’ve had my MachE, I went to use an Electrify America charging station.

In the EA app, and on the Ford display in the car, they both listed that only 1 charging station was available (not true). To add, the apps/Fordlisted the wrong units as not working.

Is this common? I was using charger 4…

I predict Fords apps would just have access to EAs data. Thus if you're asking whether EAs public facing data is not up to date enough to be accurate in real time, I believe the answer is yes.

If EA doesn't know and report the right information, there is nothing Ford can do about it. Ford relies on the charge operators to correctly report information.

I certainly understand that.
But, even the EA app was incorrect, too. I was more pointing to that fact, versus any blame to Ford...

I have had the same thing happen to me where the EA app said 3/4 chargers were available because one was inoperative, but in reality one was occupied, two others didn't work (blank screens), and the one marked as inoperative in the app charged my car. I don't really believe anything from EA.
