We just got our Mach E last week and have a Clipper Creek HCS-60 Level 2 EVSE. When we plug the vehicle in before 10PM when it's set to charge, the relay on the Clipper Creek cycles every 30 seconds to a minute and shows charging for a short period of time, then goes back off. As far as I can tell this would go on until the time set to start charging. I called Clipper Creek and they said if it's doing this the car is requesting a charge, almost like pinging the EVSE to see if it's still there. The HCS-60 is rated at 48amps so it's a pretty loud pop whenever it turns on and off and sounds like it would wear out very fast like this.
Is anyone else experiencing this with their level 2 chargers and the delayed scheduling?
