As I see it, it belongs to the current, the seventh one. Some design elements are carried over from the Mach-E to the S650.

I think what you are hung up on is that the current Mustang Mach E is not like the OG and therefore it can't be a "real" Mustang.

They are quite similar, actually.

But when the CEO of said company abruptly backtracks on 3+ years of marketing and publicly breaks with the rest of the current corporate marketing strategy, contradicting and refuting just about everything the company has ever said (and is still saying) about the product (including statements he himself made at the product’s reveal), then we have a problem.

That's exactly why the only logical conclusion is that what Jim Farley was saying, was that Ford won't bulid an electric two door Mustang coupe or convertible. They have built a four door Mustang crossover.

To me, at least, this fact modifies your description of the car as "crap". The only other Mustang to win this award, is the SN95 in 1994.

I can respect that but doesn’t change my opinion at all. The vehicle was literally built on Pinto underpinnings and to me it was crap. In my opinion.
